I liked GypsySoul's idea of using this special occasion to donate to a charity. Maybe a cause close to you.


Here are some ideas of charities you could donate to.
I tried to pick some various charities that are reputable. But you can always do research on your own if you don't see anything you like.

As I mentioned in the other thread, one of the places I donated to was Covenant House  www.covenanthouse.org
I received an e-mail confirmation when I made the donation.  They also mailed me the nicest letter.  Smiley

It reads:
     I think it is great that you chose to honor Axl Rose by sending (x) as a gift to Covenant House.  Your donation will go towards helping us take care of the thousands of young people who come to our doors each day.
     Because of your support, tonight homeless, forgotten, hungry young people will sleep in the safety of our shelters.  And tomorrow they will wake up believing that maybe their lives aren't over at such a young age.
     I hope you will remember our young people in your prayers.  You are in mine.
