Wow, that's crazy.  When I was in a band a few years ago we played there.  Not the greatest acoustics but will be amazing if true.  I would guess tickets would go on sale soon.  Definitely have to get a couple to this show.

Cheers,

Andrew

Nothing on the venue calendar yet.

Does that contest at the link say 3/26/2008? -- weird.

It does but under the GN'R thing it talks about edgefest, and the bands are legit for this year so is the date of edgefest, not sure why the top says 2008 lol

How do shows typically go down there? Are there seats or is it usually all standing/GA?

This adds more fuel to the fire but I guess it all helps if GNR actually are doing a club tour

Yes, I received this from the news director in response to my email this morning:

I must apologize this contest is in error and contains wrong information.  We will change it immediately.  I do apologize for misleading you, GNR are not coming back to the area any time soon.

Thanks for pointing it out and for listening to Y108

Jim

And he copied a lot of people on the email. Lips Sealed

Well, it's hard to cancel a tour that never even officially existed.  So, I don't really see it as a cancelled tour.  What tour?  There's really no hint of any other shows at this time, really.

Another email, a little more info.  Yeah, I didn't say "tour cancelled" -- apparently this show was pulled.  Maybe a little more on this later today.
