Axl said that the 12.31.11 show was the 116th with "this line up." Wow. Time flies.
When he introduced the band he told how long each member had been in the band.
What I remember: Stinson, 13 years; Fortus, 11 years; Frank, 6 years; Ashba 3 years; Dizzy, 22 years; don't remember what he said about Bumblefoot.

For 2012 he said the band intended to "keep on rolling." So more shows to come!

Oh damn i wish I would have had the chance to meet you. I keep replaying the show in my head. I wish there was a way to see it pro shot.

I just got home from Vegas and I had a blast. The New Year's Eve show was amazing. I danced all night! I almost cried when AXL started off 2012 the Year of the Dragon singing such a passionate version of THIS I LOVE! ON New Years's Day I went to Hart and Huntington tattoo for my AXL ROSE STITCH tattoo. I came in for my appointment and FRANK FERRER was getting a neck tattoo. He was super cool and nice. My tattoo artist Mike Roche told him that I was a FAN and showed him my little toy STITCH who was proudly wearing his AXL ROSE bandana. I also showed HELLO AXL to Frank! Tramp stamps hurt like a b*****, but it was well worth the pain. Mike was super cool. He played in a punk rock band that toured with GNR in the 80's.

The security at the JOINT was out of control. I have never experienced such an intense pat down. I was all cute and sparkly so I was shocked, I guess we can thank the Paris Hiltons of the world for that. They wouldn't let me take my Advil in.

Baz was great and Adelita's Way did not suck as much as in Chicago.

What a great way to end 2011 and start 2012! The only sad thing was that back in Chicago my coworker and her daughters, one of which is my 8 year old BFF were in their car and hit by a drunk driver who had no license aND NO INSURANCE. fORTUNATELY they only sustained minor        injuries and no facial lacerations, but I was  so upset after they called me I had to go shopping and get drunk!

Taken by my cousin. I only had one tix for the 31st so when i got to the hard Rock around 10:15 we started looking for someone to buy a tix. Then this older guy gave us 2 tix for FREE! Idk who he was but thanx! I end it up givin ine of them away to some guy. 31st was good, but 30th was better...

Maybe in my head it seems better cuz it was the first out of the two. Ive seen them a total of 5 times on this tour, but It was first time hearing Axl sing Civil War. Nothing major, they were both GREAT!

Also, crowd seemed a lil wilder up front on the 30th. Altho I dont judge the show by that. By these are some of the reasons I think the 30th was better...

That's fair Jbat. Is there still a way to download the show from the do you know? If GNR were at least as good on the 30th having that pro shot would be great.



Shit while we are at it maybe some may feel the LA show was the best and downloading that might be best. I swear the 31st just hit like GNR perfection. What is the consensus I wonder.

I wish I knew how to get any of the iclips pro shot shows! I bought me what they call "THE ULTIMATE MAC" but i dont do much with it. Im sure someone here can let us know. Or maybe GNR surprises us with a Blu-Ray concert! lol
Well, about what was the better show... Its usually whateva show we attend! Bias...
Out of the 5 this year, I liked Hartford alot for some reason. They sang nice boys on that day...
