I bought the iClips for both GNR concerts and I watch them the day after the concert - waiting now for them to put it back up. I read somewhere on the boards here that DJ said there would be a lot of surprises during last nights performance - were there any?
I'm not sure I want to sit through another 3 hr pixelated show if it's exactly the same as the Dec.21 show.....

I didn't even get the download spot to come up and I was on two different computers! I e-mailed them. Somebody will get it up on youtube and I'll catch it. I don't mind GNR getting my 10 bucks, lord knows I owe them way more

I have seen on a few other boards, folks complaining about Axl's voice being a bit too high on some songs on the soundboard/Iclip's feed. It's amazing, that they don't realize that, that is not the sound that the folks at the show are hearing. Axl has mastered the vocals he needs to use, to make the sound coming out of the actual speakers sound absolutely spot on. For proof, check out these fan recorded clips from the show (this user has many fan recordings from the 12-30-11 show)---his voice is dead on the money on everything--sounding pitch perfect. The work this guy puts into finding the perfect sound live, is just incredible! I love the soundboard recordings for the great sound of the band unvarnished, but I also love the audience recordings, because folks get a better feel of what the crowd is hearing. Sometimes folks complain about the soundboard, but everyone at the show says the sound was "incredible, pitch perfect". Well, it's because Axl has perfected his vocal delivery, to ensure that what the crowd is getting live is perfect--he's playing FOR the FANS--not the internet! Oh just occurred to me this might be what is appearing on the screens on stage. Curious. Eh shit is fucking cool as hell anyway and sounds awesome. Axl's voice coming through loud and clear. Thanks dude.
