Yep, this unfortunately is a "reasonable doubt" not a "beyond the shadow of a doubt" case.

Pandora's Box is officially open.

I'm kind of surprised some people are staunchly on Braun's side in this case.  Jon Heyman has been tweeting repeatedly saying that he should be considered innocent, "technicality" shouldn't even enter the discussion.  How can you possibly say that?  Maybe he is innocent, but I've heard guys claim their innocence many times over when they were anything but.  So sorry for "jumping to conclusions", but I'm skeptical.  STILL.

LOL@ Ryan Braun

So piss left at room temp raises Test levels 3 times?

Well.. let someone clean piss n a cup... leave it out and see what happens.

So, if he sent it Fed Ex, would it not "Technically" be still left out at room temp en route?

This shit is a joke.

All the more reason to think this entire thing has jumped the shark.

Joel Zumaya out for the season again. This time he tore his elbow ligament and will need Tommy John surgery if he intends to try another comeback.

It also can't raise carbon-13 levels in the hormone, itself.

There was an abundance of SYNTHETIC testosterone in that sample.  And nothing has yet explained that.  The only case they could possibly make is that the courier tampered with it....which (as much as Braun insisted otherwise) is NOT relatively simple to do.  And even tampering would have caused some irregularities (for example, just introducing additional "pure" synthetic hormone to the urine sample) the lab would have noticed and been able to measure.

Technicality. Plain and simple.

I hope Braun has learned his lesson and if not he better not get off next time. It wouldn't surprise me if he is one of the ones caught using HGH when they start testing.

This whole off season has been a bit bizzarre.

The Angels and Marlins going fiscally nuts at the winter meetings, the Red Sox beer n' chicken revelations, the
AJ Burnett death watch and the reigning NL MVP getting nailed for PED's and subsequently gets off the hook.

Thank God spring training games start next week... yes

Definitely good news on your end Falcon. Fantastic catcher and worth the money to keep him for a long time to come.

Advice for money keeper league

we also do minor leaguers

I have Matt Moore who i smartly drafted last season.. Guy is offering me quite a bit for him: Tyler Skaggs, Number 2 overall pick and 13th overall pick... I currently also have 4th pick.. Skaggs is a top pitching prospect, I could get Trevor Bauer or Darvish at number 2... prob Dylan Bundy at 4 and so on

but I love Matt Moore and think he is a can't miss future ace/cy young candidate....

what would u do?

For sure.

They really couldn't afford to let him walk, not much in the pipeline catcher wise to take his place and alot of young pitching on the rise that could use his leadership as they come up.

Seems like a win/win.

Gotta hold onto Moore D..

Interesting you mention Bundy, he played high school ball about 15 minutes from my house - been following his rise for a couple of years..

Haha yeah, i'm not too familiar with his career stats to give an opinion if he's deserving or not. I'm sure Faldor will have a lot to say about this.
