Duff is at the mic. But why would Perla consider Gilby a surprise? Wasn't this taken after Duff's show and Gilby appeared in the show.

Good point, Gilby's wife is in the photo Perla posted.  But it doesn't kind of look like him?

That was rehearsal, when i snuck into The Ritz Gilbys wife was there with her parents, and i was listening to her talk to them, she was talking about family and then mentioned they did rehearsal at 1am @ HOB, and she laughed saying that was there rehearsal so late, and she said how they just found out they were coming a few days ago, maybe slash and duff asked him to come.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying...but I think Perla was referring to Gilby.  By "back" I think she meant behind Duff in the red shirt...Gilby.

The other person in the back in red appears to be female.

Do they have 2 drum sets set up?
