Sebastian is the man, but I think they could do better. If Sebastian were the guy, I like your idea of Monroe joining though.

Lemmy or Elton would be awesome.
Mick and Keith are obvious. Tyler and Perry could be cool.
Ozzy might be entertaining.

Definitely hoping they do better than Liam Gallagher.
Shouldn't be hard.

Dude you are aware of what a big deal Liam Gallagher is right?  He is one of if not the biggest rock star to come out of England in the last 30 years.   I would be shocked if Liam agreed to do it.

Even though they are dinosaurs at this point I think Tyler and Perry would be pretty cool, really hoping it's not Bach, that would be super lame.  It would be great to get someone with musical credibility.  I thought Metallica did a great job with Flea, he gave one of the best speeches I have ever heard at one of these things.  Maybe Lars?

I agree that Gallagher would bring an interesting element to the induction. But still, Baz' got an likable element to him.

Personally I wouldn't like Avanged Sevenfold to induct Gn'R. That would mean as much as if Adam Lambert showing honor to Jimi....= not shit....

No, a legend deserve to be inducted by a legend and/or a really kick-ass person.....
........he is Stones, Beatles kind of guy.

A guy can't be a Stones, Beatles kind of guy.....If your personality isn't kinda split then....Oh, I just realized that might be the case with Liam?  hihi

And didnt Oasis big up GnR at Rock in Rio in 2001 when they both played?

I know Oasis went on before them, I don't remember they said anything about them.  I can't imagine GNR being Liam's cup of tea, he is Stones, Beatles kind of guy.

Maybe I have that wrong - seem to recall one Gallagher quite liking Axl and the other not.  I think it's Noel who does not.  I'd prefer neither of them did it personally, but fk it - Gnr are in, whoever introduces them is hopefully well-chosen, does the band get any input into this?

Duff was interviewed yesterday on the Kevin & Bean show.

He says he doesn't know what will happen in April, there's been no discussion about it.  He hopes it will be just fine. Smiley

Bach is the worst choice I can think of.

I think it should be Amy Lee or Robb Flynn.

As much as I admire both of those guys I don't see Liam being very articulate with this kind of thing. How about Joe Perry? He has expressed his admiration for GNR in multiple interviews.

And please don't subject us to the cheese sandwich that is Sebastian Bach.

very cool!  I just assumed Liam wouldn't have liked them because they are American.. hihi  that and Liam doesn't really like anyone.  I forgot he said that  at Rio.

I woudn't bet on this happening though, as MYGNR is the only place to actually "report" this rumor.  Not one other media outlet has picked it up, supposedly they said Kerrang said it.
