I'd want to see Brian May, but Alice Cooper would be cool.  As much as I'm not a fan, Kid Rock would really be the only "current" artist I would like to see induct the band.  Not that any of this even really matters (it's all political anyway, like the Oscars), but someone who has some type of respect in the industry would be fitting to induct them; if a thing's worth doing, it's worth doing right.

Has anyone who selected the mail option received their tickets yet?  I think it said 10 days somewhere but mine haven't showed up yet.

No, I haven't.  It actually said they would be delivered 10 days BEFORE the event takes place, which is standard.  But you should get the tickets well ahead of time, at least in my experience.

I check the mail every day though, hoping to see an unmarked envelope that could be holding 2 HOF tickets.  Can't wait.  peace

The person who's selected to induct GNR has to be legendary. We're talking Major League here: Iggy Pop, Brian May, Mick Jagger, Jimmy Page, Lemmy, Ozzy, Steven Tyler and the likes. It has to be someone who has been in the game even longer than the GNR alumni. I totally agree with the guy who said that he had a hard time thinking of someone younger than GNR being worthy of the honour. No disrespect to Sebastian Bach, but I can't imagine a proteg? of Axl inducting GNR...
