Im so upset I couldnt get tickets it kept having  me put in the the verification code like I got em then wouldn't go any further then that page, wouldnt have been to long of a drive either.  crying

I ended up getting two tickets. I am so excited for this night. Hopefully everything gets in order for a one night reunion. The band deserves to spend the evening on stage together. Nevermind the fans. This is their honor and we, the fans, are here to watch their glory.

I hope so, I was at work got to my computer at 9:09 and they were literally all sold out! I was bummed because it was going to be my Xmas gift to myself! I really don't want to pay 300 dollars off stubhub/eBay since I will be spending a lot in gas anyways driving seven hours to Cleveland  Undecided

No, it was the no-show/cancelled Vancouver show 2002 - incited a riot.  Not sure what he means by tossed out on his ass, but I read some scathing reviews.  I don't know how Walapino got that he'll show up at the HoF out of that comment....really?  I don't get the connection between the Twitter comment and...well, never mind - I have no idea.   It was a joke, right?  Ha! Ha!

LOL i was joking dude, i know he meant the no show in vancouver and "tossing it" means he throw that old no showing axl just like he did some idiot last night. Regardless I hope he shows up at the HOF!  peace

Just posted this in the twitter thread, but I would guess that he's referring to the guy he kicked out of the concert last night, who (again I'm guessing) must've made some sort of scene about the no show in 2002.

he did say that, but did specify that they have not gotten in touch with Matt or Dizzy. He said Axl agreed to show up...but I have my doubts

I taped the show, but haven't gotten around to listening to it yet.  I hope they all show, and I think they probably will.  BUT, I don't necessarily think the CEO would come out and say "I don't expect Axl to show up", or something of the like.  I'd expect him to put a positive spin on it regardless.  Not saying he's lying however.

Honestly, as much as I ( and I think a fair amount of people ) would love to see them play a song or two. At this point, to just see those 5 guys on a stage would be great. To come together as 5 adults and say thanks for the honor, that's good enough for me!  beer

I agree seeing them just put the stupid bs aside for just a few hours get up there and accept this honor would be enough. At least to give the past some closure for themselves and the fans.

Great.Old guys deserved it,but on the other hand new band is amazing.Also Old guys with Axl will be parody of one amazing band.
The best prove for it is Duff apereances on civil war and you could be many in last two shows.Only blind man can not see it.
With this ceremony old band will go to history,legend and immortality on one amazing way...
i'm sure there won't be a reunion
