Wow!
Who is this Rick Florino character?
A Guns n Roses fan with limited awareness of rock history, apparently. It's nice that he wants to say something positive - it would be even nicer if he got his facts straight first so that people could take him seriously.

Fuck yes on TWAT. If there was only one song I wish I could hear performed live from GNR it would be TWAT.

You want to elaborate on what facts he got wrong?

Well, Pete Townsend wrote all the The Who's songs, so to compare Axl to Roger Daltrey as a songwriter is to compare him to someone who sang, but never really wrote anything.
Plus, when you say he's the best singer since Robert Plant, you really ignore a lot of great singers - Halford, Steven Tyler, Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, among others.

He's not ignoring them... He's saying Axl is better than them

Plus Axl can sing in more than one register without sounding like shit.

That's not a major mistake. And what you say about greatest singer isn't a matter of facts, it's a matter of taste. If it's considered a fact he is right though, Axl's much better than all of those you mention
