All I can say is , again they top themselves, being on the rail up front, I can care less what is goin on behind me, as far as crowd, from my perspective, it ws just amazing, and the energy there, was awesome, was cool to see jarmo and others after the show at after show party, finally to to meet DJ, as far as the show, Ive seen the band now finally 20 times, and like I told DJ, this is the best I have ever heard the band sound, and rock. It just indescribable. Coti again thanks for taking sexkitten and myself back to manhattan, and not letting us be stranded !.you rock, Get that poster framed asap and post pics!. I wish we could have got to see everyone before the show, it was so fucking cold that after 2 hrs, we went into the venue, I know some of you wound up coming later. I had a blast got home at 5:30 am, and had to get up for a doctor appointment at 9:30 am, and I made it, I would do this over ad over again in a heartbeat, if not for my money situation, but to all those goin to more shows, just keep having a blast!.

I will give a review later on (still at work right now running on 3 hours sleep) but I will agree with everyone here about the crowd.  That is precisely why I despise the Izod Center (formerly the Continental Airlines Arena).  There is nothing to do but drink in a cold concrete parking lot when you finally manage to get there, and then the security guards are looking at you discouraging you to drink.  It sucks the life out of you.  Horrible horrible venue.  Worst in the country in my opinion and I have been to many around the USA.

Great show! Axl sounded awesome!! The band was good. My date said that Axl sounded like he did back in the 90s. She was very impressed! I loved Rocket Queen, Nightrain, WTTJ, Sweet Child, etc. However, Knockin on heaven's Door was special for me last night since I went to a wake for a good friend of mine before the concert.

How anyone has anything negative to say about this band is beyond me. This was more 4th GNR show and it definitely was the calmest crowd I've seen. I think they enjoyed themselves but there was no fights, no beligerent drunks, etc ...

I agree with you about how can anyone say anything negative about them!  I was front row right in front of the cannon on the left side. During SCOM a fight did break out for about a min. Besides that the crowd was pretty calm. Was standing by some nice fans from Israel which was their first show with the new line up.

The whole set kicked ass but I thought Shackler's Revenge was great. The only thing I think Asking Alexandria was the worst opening band ever for Guns N' Roses I seen so far live.   

At first the place did not look even half full but after five or six songs in I would say it was around 80% full and I'm sure some some tickets just did not get used.  I thought it would have sold out with no NYC show this time. Oh well still a great show and nice it did not rain when in line this time.

I agree with you.  This venue in the winter really sucks (it's downright depressing to stand in that awful parking lot) unless you want to stay inside beforehand and spend a gazillion dollars on drinks.  The show itself was amazing.  The crowd was awful.  Hopefully next time around we get an MSG show just for the better vibe.  Axl didn't say 3 words to us all night so maybe Izod makes him cranky, too?  I have to honestly say---I have no idea what happened in the past few years but my God, he sounds so amazing now, though.  I cringed on more than one occasion in 2006 at shows and I literally had chills through every one this time around.
