I am sure that dinners will be very expensive on New Year's Eve.  I am sitting in the balcony so i don't have to worry about standing in line to get a good spot in GA. I have a room at the Hard Rock, but I am strictly a NO DRUGs girl. I like to drink champagne and OLD ENGLISH 800.

I got a GA ticket as well as a balcony seat because I'm unsure where I want to go.  Not sure I want to get there so early and stand all night, so I'm thinking I will sit in the balcony.  Good seats all around, so I think it will be fun to be able to have a seat and watch for once.  I'll be on the floor in Denver.

Haha, Old English has to qualify as a drug of it's own doesn't it? Haha. I always go for GA, but I never stand in line for hours. And I actually also do not drink before Gn'R. The last thing I want to do is spend half the show in the bathroom. I make up for it afterwards though, lol.

I really don't drink much either. maybe a glass of champagne. I usually just bring a bottle of water to the show. I am allergic to smoke and I have to drink a little water to keep from choking. I am so excited about the show and coming back to Vegas. On Friday I'm going to hit the Noodle Bar at the Venetian and try and get TIX for the ELVIS Cirque DU Soleil show. I have to visit the Secret Garden and hit the extreme rides at the Stratosphere. Maybe do a little video roulette.

For those of you who are gonna be in town a couple days early.....Trans Siberian Orchestra is playing the 29th. Two shows, a matinee and a night, at the Thomas and Mack. If you haven't seen them before....just go. Trust me. And, Bob Segar is playing Mandalay Bay on the 30th. I'm gonna try make all three of those work, but well see how money is. Hopefully I can win the TSO and Segar tickets.

A Thanksgivng Day miracle happened! i decided to look at the American Airlines website and it let me book a 1 way from Chicago to Las Vegas for$340 and it let me use my frequent flyer miles for the return trip back! I found a great balcony ticket on STUBHUB and a great deal on a room at the Hard Rock hotel at vegas.com! And 2 of my friends at work agreed to switch days with me! So my dream is coming true! I get to see GNR at the JOINT!!!!!!

Now I have a question for the locals. How far is IN AND OUT BURGER from the airport and the Hard Rock Hotel. I really needs me an IN and OUT burger! Also is it possible to get reduced price tickets for the ELVIS Cirque du Soleil show?

I found a great balcony ticket on STUBHUB and a great deal on a room at the Hard Rock hotel at vegas.com! And 2 of my friends at work agreed to switch days with me! So my dream is coming true! I get to see GNR at the JOINT!!!!!!

Now I have a question for the locals. How far is IN AND OUT BURGER from the airport and the Hard Rock Hotel. I really needs me an IN and OUT burger! Also is it possible to get reduced price tickets for the ELVIS Cirque du Soleil show?

Haha, added all up, that means the "open bar" costs right around $300. That's $150 an hour. Damn, I love to drink, but I don't think even on my best day I could drink $300 worth of booze in 2 hours. hahaha (And I'm guessing the open bar is limited to beer, wine and well drinks, they probably won't even be nice and include top shelf)
