I re-watched the interview yesterday and I was wrong, it was not Jim Florentine who took a jab at Axl, it was the guy with weird sideburns, whatever his name is. .

That would be Don Jamieson.

He and Florentine actually make that show watchable for me, they crack on the ever self important/self promoting Trunk at every possible opportunity.

I do... And Slash told Eddie that him and Axl have been really cool lately... So that is cool.

i didn't hear him say it... i must have blacked out during that part

Slash didn't say it on the show and he didn't say it in that context.  I read the article and all that Slash meant was that the two hadn't smeared each other in the press lately.  He didn't mean that he and Axl had been talking to one another or hanging out or anything.

When Eddie Trunk talked about this in some interview, I read it and immediately thought, "That will get blown out of proportion." It hasn't so far luckily. I don't think that comment means jackshit about Axl and Slash's relationship (or lack thereof).

You should have seen the cover they wanted to do. It wasn't a glove, believe me.

Oh, I now see what you were asking.  Eddie has done SO many interviews about these shows, it may be hard to find.
