What's the story with the troubles in Abu Dhabi?  Was that known before tonight?  I don't remember reading about that.

Not sure either. And actually, this brings up a good point that in general they did a poor job of asking relveant follow-up questions.  I'm going to watch it again and think of all of the good questions they could have asked based on Axl's responses.

Don't get me wrong,I like Axl and new band a lot,and think this is the best band ever but Axl Rose story on TMS was shit...
He said we could except Chinese democracy videos in future...For god sake,four years after album realised we could except a videos,that is ballshitt...Like he were talkin about uyi tour...Hey man,uyi tour was in right time and with that tour gnr became the biggest band on the planet and you bacame a king of stadium...I don't get thing like "I wasn't ready" and shit like that...

Also this band deserve bigger chance,and that is the reason why they need videos...World have to seee them,not fans only,because DJ,Bfoot,Tommy,Richard and other deserve it...They are amazing musicians and this is the best band in the fuckin world...
In last 5 years I watched them twice,watched ACDC,metallica,Bon Jovi,U2 but these guys are better than any other band

On the other hand Eddies questiuons were shit...He didn't have a  courage to asked him a real questions?HIs questions were like "I must not upset Axl ROse because he will kick my ass "

For those of you bitching about music videos... Music videos are not what they were 20 years ago when you were younger. Rock music videos are very few and far between when it comes to being relevant and good. It's all about appearances, performances, internet, etc. Making a music video probably wouldn't do much for Chinese Democracy at all.

I actually do like that question.  I mean I could care less what he used to listen to because that has been answered before, but i like knowing if there are any new bands out there that he has taken an interest in.

Trunk and Co are first class Whiny douchebags. They didn't deserve such an exclusive interview.

What was the BS about they were just gonna show up and get in Axl's face? GTFO with that dumb shit.

Then to completely drop the ball on great follow up opportunities when Axl was clearly willing and ready to talk about almost anything...

it was great seeing Axl on TV, great hearing him speak and give a great interview... but that ccould've been 2 million times better if the hosts weren't such clueless,spineless dick bags.

I loved Axl's closing comment about DJ talking over him... Axl was the only one in the room who actually cared about DJ being there.

In my opinion it was rude of the interviewers not to address any question to DJ or to both of them for that matter.

And I don't think it has anything to do with time limitations, cause if they could just cut their stupid questions short a bit, the guy would have scored a line or two.

I thought that was cool as well. I remember watching the Challenger blow up on TV. I was in clinical in my last year of nursing school. Me and my patient just stared at each other with shock and disbelief.

I also thought it was funny about what he said about the audience in the early 90's. I was way too chicken to see a GNR show back then. When I first saw GNR in 2001 in Las Vegas my friends were totally freaked out. They were like, I can't believe that you went to a GNR concert by yourself, those people are CRAZY!

I also thought AXl looked super cute and sexy!
