I guess some folks read it as "Axl's a real jerk for making me wait" I just didn't see it that way.
Speaking of waiting..I don't care how late the show starts I just wish I knew WHEN it would start. I always show early just in case. I mean What if? I'm always pumped entering the venue but waiting is draining. Oh well, I'll be in my seat at 9:30 in KC.

I remember at MSG in 2002 Axl took the stage at like 9:30. People showed up in the middle of the show expecting Axl to not be on stage until 11 or so. They were pretty upset.

My fear exactly! Tacoma 2002, everybody thought it was a conspiracy to make the fans spend more money on concessions, but in Portland 2006 they just shut down those concessions so there went that theory. I think Axl sings when Axl's ready to sing. I'm cool with that cause that's what I'm there to see. I just wish they'd schedule the show for 11pm or so then I'd KNOW I wasn't going to miss something. |
