great
tonight. lots of energy, good moods, etc.
took a shit load of pictures I'm in the process of uploading.
met Jarmo (finally), a bunch of forum members, got Ron/DJ/Dizzy/Fortus to sign my alt. artwork CD - after some difficulty with the sharpie. had a nice chat with Del James. overall a tremendous show.
funny that my flight is in only 4 hours, so looks like I will sleep when I'm back in NJ! wish I was headed to Miami...

That sounds so good, Axl's voice is definitely BACK and strong. This has to be the best WTTJ so far from this tour.

Sounds like most of that review was written while the reviewer was steaming over the 90 minute wait. That was my 10th GnR show and the best one so far. Axl was heard loud and clear right from the start and never sounded winded despite running around most of the night. He appeared to be in good shape and was the focus of many close ups. Whatever issues were present in Rio are gone. That band kicked ass last night.
I purposely checked out the crowd because I know people obsess on that thing. It was not sold out, but the upper bowl was open and I saw plenty of people. It was a great night for anyone who wanted to go have a good time and listen t great music. Anyone else going in with an agenda probably got what they wanted, wheteher it actually happened or not.

Did any of you get any good pics of Axl without the hat and glasses?? I didn't bring my camera since I was told they weren't allowed (I wish I had just brought it anyway) and my phone's camera couldn't pick up anything other than the bright lights.
I got some decent video but all with a hat on. The show was great and Axl was looking and sounding SO very good... I just want one good pic of him where I can actually see his face! lol
