Well, we've got Estranged now, so I guess anything's possible.... but I can't see it happening

I've always felt removing the Live and Let Die's and Heaven's Doors and replacing with Epic Gnr numbers would be a good way to go

Something weird happened last night in Rosario.

There was this girl with a piece of paper with "Coma" on it. Axl read it, the girl throwed him the paper and Axl kicked it.

I don't know if this means something...I don't think so...but it was something related with 'Coma' that happened yesterday...

Knockin On Heavens Door really showcases Axl's singing ability so I never want that to go

I thought about this and I would really like to see it but I really doubt it as its considered a Slash song

Whilst I love the inclusion of Estranged in the current set and hope I get the chance to experience it live, I'd prefer to hear more tracks from CD before adding in further old songs.  Although, if the option to extend the set and include new and old was there, I'd really like to hear what this band makes of Breakdown and Civil War.

I thought that myth that Slash brought "Coma" to the band as a finished song was debunked years ago....

+ 1,000 to this one.  I think there is so much great material off of the "Illusions" that gets looked over for these 2 songs.  The thing is both of those songs were very popular radio hits for the band, so a generic rock crowd would much rather hear those songs instead of "Breakdown" or "Locomotive."

I thought I read that Slash had brought in the music, or most of, but no lyrics.
Who knows.
Regardless, it's a Guns N' Roses song.
It's obviously guitar driven, but it's not the epic it is without the brilliant lyrics Axl put down.

The last 2 minutes of Coma are some of my favorite lyrics of all time.
In my opinion, it's one of the songs where Axl went from being a good, to amazing lyricist.

That said, Axl referred to Coma as Slash's baby in an old Kurt Loder interview if I'm not mistaken, so not sure he's chomping at the bit to revisit it anytime soon.

I recall it being called girth as a working title. N' I think Axl said he passed out while writing lyrics to it..
I't's a very dramatic song that I don't think translates well live..

I don't think it matters what form of contribution former members have done, in terms of "new gnr" performing any of the old songs.
I used to think so, and Estranged was one of the songs I thought they'd never play again, basically because of "Slash"'s guitarparts.
Axl even credited him in the liner notes for the killer guitarsolos on that song. But then, BOOM, we got blown away the last couple of weeks when they decided to bring it back... and it sounded amazing...

Coma is an amazing song too, so if they feel like playing it one day, I welcome it with open arms  ok

just a matter of us fans teaming up, and when Bumble wants solo input next.....the answer should be COMA....
all the solos Bumble have played involving the earlier works of Guns N Roses has lead up to a performance, however rare and far apart shit has still been performed live....
so, get Bumble to incorporate Coma into a solo, and sooner or later we'll get the whole thing!

That's "crap".

Yes Slash was in Guns and on Jungle (and the whole I came to him for his riff is as much crap as him saying he brought Locomotive and Coma in as complete songs) and he has rights to perform it but not to be represented in this context in association with Guns. And since they weren't granted the license it'll take some sorting.

Slash brought the song to the band. No one said it was completed. I think Axl had something to do with arrangement.
