yes I saw them the day before thanksgiving in 2002 in albany...I will def be going to this one as well, that makes 5 shows on this tour!

I did as well (was actually my first GNR show) and now 9 years later we get another day before Thanksgiving show.

it was my first show as well...the best show I ever saw in my life too, i was just losing my mind in the front row.

Honestly now that more dates are popping up not on the schedule at first, I can definitely see MSG or Nassau Coliseum being used. More likely Nassau because if I'm not mistaken - The Garden is full around the time GNR will be around, the first leg at least.

good news! happy for the people upstate........MSG does look pretty packed around the time GNR will be around, maybe they come back at end of tour? maybe some private club shows like rose bar on off nights? who knows! lets just get ready!  rofl

I would have loved to go to this show also but it a bad date with the Holiday, work and already going to two shows that week.

Great to see more dates popping up. I just wished we had all the dates now. I need to plan work around them all.  nervous Hope this tour goes on for a long time.  Cool

yes its over 2 hours.  The NJ show is about 10 minutes from the tourist section of NY.  Anyone coming to see GNR who wants to spend time in NYC I strongly recommend the Jersey show.  Albany is about as close to NYC as Philadelphia.

i would love to hit this show, but i really shouldn't be traveling that far the night before thanksgiving. but this will be killer. that wedneday night is a great time out! this time last year i was working in albany, so i did the drive from the philly area several times. a little long, but not a bad drive. this is really tempting.

i'm was hoping to hit 3 shows....camden, then Hartford or Wilkes-Barre, and one other one. i was hoping for a NYC or baltimore/DC that would work out for me. still waiting for the rest of the dates.

but hitting both hartford and WB is an option, but that's a freakin hike! would be a fun weekend though.

kudos to all you guys hitting several shows all over the NE. that's awesome!  beer

I was also there in 2002 it was a great show. i will be there this year to. quick question though. i read on the times union website that theres no seating its all GA is this true?
