The Days Inn up there is very close to the Arena and pretty cheap.

On sale seems kinda fishy for this event... asked for specific obscure seats that I always sit in at this arena that NEVER sells out and they told me all of sections 213, 212, 212, 211, 210, 209, 208, 207 were sold out. every row. every seat.

Purchased two other ones elsewhere but still... mad fishy. Usually they hold the BEST seats, not the ones in the upper freakin' bowl!

That is odd for those sections.

Exactly - and I said, oh is it because they have simply not been released? The agent said "no they were all sold". To which I replied, with all due respect- you're telling me basically the whole upper bowl, minus 2/3 sections sold out within 20 minutes of going on sale? She said "yes.". So either this is a heavily, heavily sold show already and it's going to be a full fucking house..... or I was lied to and they were held to make sure the show sells well.

I saw Alice in Chains here back in 2010 and they had those sections of the upper bowl taped off so I have a feeling they are fearing it won't sell well and are holding those tickets.

To be fair, GNR hasn't played in Wilkes-Barre since '88.

For a second I thought Raymond the Amish Comic was opening for GnR. That would be kind of cool actually.
Haha Raymond would tear it up, saw him earlier this year!

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
