I have 3 tickets available in Section 202, Row H. I bought them and then upgraded to the pit area. Face value w/service charge is $90 each. I'll sell them to someone here for
$50 apiece
, or make an offer. Right now i just want to get enough for them to get a hotel room for the night, and some beers at the show. Send me a message if interested. Thanks

if you go on Live Nation you can select your seats so you can see what is available. it holds about 7,000 and based on what it looks like is left, i'd say about 5,000 or so tix have been sold. not bad but i really thought this would sell out. back in 2002 there were 15,000 people there and they added a second show.
i called the venue and confirmed there is no curfew. the lady told me that they had a show that went until 2am the other night (she said it was some DJ), and that their manager has been warning everyone to be prepared to be working a long night on the 26th.

it is one of them. not sure of the latest rankings or how they even determine that. but anyway you look at it, it is one of the most unsafe areas in the entire U.S. the crime rate is high, but what's worse is that the violent crime rate is extremely high.
but the immediate stadium area is safe. and driving there and back is fine too.

It was considered the most dangerous city in America for like five years running.
One of the reasons for this is because it is right across the river from Philadelphia, and Pennsylvania has very relaxed gun purchasing laws, and New Jersey has very strict ones, so people have for many years smuggled guns into New Jersey through Camden. Add in a desperately poor mostly minority local population, terrible schools, as well as little opportunity for work, and yes, Camden has for many, many years been a scary place to live.
But I went to a gig at this venue a few months ago and it was more than fine. Keep your car in one of the (expensive) lots, and when you get to the arena you'll notice if you interact with people that most of them attending the gig are either from other parts of Jersey, New York, or Philly. Outside, the locals won't bother you, as long as you don't bother them.
Because of the crime, they don't run trains at night past like 6 PM, so if you come to the show via train you'll have to take a bus to Philadelphia and then use the train system there to get home. The hours may be different on Saturday. I've only taken public transportation to Camden during the week.

ive been to at least 20-30 shows at this venue, i go there a few times a year, it is perfectly safe. I just wouldnt wander blocks away from the venue. if you go from your car in the lot to the venue you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Thats actually not correct. Trains do run from philly to camden all night long. Its the PATCO line and they have a website with train schedules. Its about 3 blocks from the venue. I've done it and it is ok as long as u r with other people. I would not do the walk by myself.

Yeah, Baltimore is exactly the same way. The arena is in the Inner Harbor, which is safe to park your car and go straight to and from the venue, just do NOT wander blocks away from it. Much like Camden, Baltimore is on that list of "most violent U.S. cities".

here's a link to an interview with Tommy Stinson.
http://www.wmmr.com/shows/matt-cord/
(scroll down to the second podcast.)
nothing earth shattering, but he talks about how well the tour is going, how good everyone is getting along, playing "My Generation" and maybe finding a song to replace it with, Duff probably opening shows in Seattle and Portland, and how long he has been in GnR.
Matt Cord is a DJ in philly and they are friends.
