Hey,

Does anyone know what would be the expected start time for GNR? I was looking at the 2006 US tour, and it seemed like 11:30-11:45 was the average start time for the band. Is that possible at this arena? What is the latest bands can play for at this center?

The reason I'm asking is that I may not make it to Camden until 8:30-9pm and I don't want to miss any part of GNR.

For those who have been here, what is the latest you can remember a show going on until here. I'm hoping maybe for a 2 hour show from 10-12. I guess I'll get a better idea when the US tour starts....

Thanks for any input...

The show "starts" @ 8pm.. You have at least a 1hr opener + stage change.. If you're there by 9pm i'd think you're fine

I got presale tix Thursday in Section 201, kinda off to the side. Went on today and saw tix in Sec. 202 (center section) -- called the Live Nation 800 # and they switched my tickets to the better seats free of charge (my credit card will be fully refunded in like 10 days). I had to call and let them order the new seats for me in order to get the free swap.

Then, just for the hell of it -- I looked what was available in the highest priced seats -- and ended up getting 5 seats in the fucking pit, which is only 8 rows deep!!!

Til I get my refund for the seats I swapped, i'm in for over $1500.00 in tickets right now -- Thank God for credit cards!

 ok

Now, the fucking wait til the show...

i got my seats today too. made a change myself after my first order. i ordered 2 sets and have 14 tix in section 101 - the ends of the 2 rows about 6-7 rows back. pretty much exactly what i was hoping for, so i'm glad i waited. still seems strange to me that it appears most of section 102 was never put on sale. that's a big chunk of the best seats that are on hold.

can't wait!!!

is this the arena that is accesible from Penn Station?

this arena is in south jersey, right across the river from downtown philly. from penn station i belive you would take the train to Trenton, and then take another train to Camden and you get dropped off right in front of the venue.

Does anybody know how the pit area seating is numbered? All the charts i've found only show the rows going from 1-8 back from the stage. I'm trying to figure out the numbering from left to right. I have a few tix in row 4, seats 14&15, and 3 more in row 8, something like 48-50. Just wondering where those seats are in relation to the stage.

not sure on that one. i haven't seen seats in that pit in over 10 years. every show i go to in GA. i know in the past some GA tix would have a seat number on them, but it was still just GA. but looking at the live nation ticket sale and how specific your tix are, i guess this is not GA in the pit. that's kinda surprising.

for some shows they do have seats in the pit. i've been to family events there recently where they had seats. my buddy said there were seats for a concert a few months ago there. i personally have not seen them for a concert in quite a few years, but i saw Pearl Jam there back around 1999 and i sat in seats in row P6 up in the pit.

If I lived in the NYC area, that would be pretty damn cool.
How ironic to be leaving FROM the Hammerstein to go on the road to a GNR show!  The last time I went to NYC was going TO the hammerstein to see GNR!
Great memories.
I can't tell ya how psyched I am to see the band live again on November 26th.
It's like an early Christmas present!!!   beer

i haven't heard about one for NJ. but i will have about 10-12 people going and i'm hoping 2-4 more. if we can get 16+ we'll probably rent a yellow school bus. it would be about $500, so with 20 people that comes out to be $25 a person. then just BYOB. i've done it for a couple other shows and it works out great. it's a fun time and well worth the money.

if we decide to do that, i will post on here in case anyone is interested. the more the merrier (and cheaper!  Smiley).

i just called the venue and the lady said that there will be no seats in the PIT. it is GA for this show and that GA tix always have row and seat numbers on them, even when it is GA.

i also asked about curfew in camden i got a worthless answer. she said she is not sure, but that most shows end around 11pm. i said GnR don't come on stage until 11pm most of the time. she said the show is scheduled to start before that, but no set times are available, and the only information she can provide now is that shows typically end around 11pm.

I asked the lady at Live Nation on the phone this morning and she told me there would be seats for this show -- seat 1 to the left of the stage facing it, to seat 50 to the right, in the center pit area. She said if there were no seats her info would show "standing room only" and hers said "reserved seating". So who knows, i guess i'll find out when i get there.

Either way, i'll be closer to the stage than i've ever been! Can't fucking wait! ok

interesting. if i can confirm seats i will swap my tix. that would be awesome. i hope that's correct.

i noticed that drop-down that says "reserved seating," but it also says GA PIT at the top. and i found some old PIT ticket stubs - Slayer/Manson and Cruefest have a row and seat #, and AIC has only a seat # with GA0 for the row. it's also strange that you cannot pick you seats in that section when you use the map on LN (which is an awesome feature!).

for GnR, seats would be perfect. one problem with that pit is that it tends to get really packed at times. i think cause it's so easy to sneak in there so there's way more people than actually belong. seats eliminates that problem.

not in Camden, it is pretty hard to sneak into the pit.  The pit fans have their own entrance, and wristbands AND tickets get checked everytime you go in or out.  Even hours into the show.
