This show seems to be selling pretty well.  I just got on ticketmaster and the best available two tickets are section 126 which is the angle seeting towards the back.

so they will probably go on at what 11-12? 2-3 hour show? after getting back to penn station what is the last train back to long island? don't know if i should get a hotel or not....whats been the start time so far this tour.(and no im not bitching about the start time)

I'm driving from Long Island...Although I know trains run practically every hour to Ronkonkama..But I'm not sure how the schedule is to get back to Penn....

11:30, 12:15, 11:00, 11:00, 10:30, 10:00.  I have been tracking start times to give my non gnr diehard friends an idea of when to arrive at the venue. I have prepared them well so they know what they are getting into. Overall they have been going on at a relatively decent time.

Still no word on the opening act?  Or the time the doors open?  Or the time the parking opens?  Just curious.  BTW, my husband and his friend are in section 101, dead center to the stage.  Me?  I'll be on the floor!  I cannot believe I will be seeing them again in six days.

If anyone knows of a good bar/sports bar to watch the Jets/Broncos Thursday nite football game near the arena, let me know.  It should be an awesome nite watching the Jets kick ass just before Axl hits the stage... beer

theres really nothing near the arena, the arena is in the middle of nowhere.  Any restaurants or bars you go to would involve leaving the parking area and driving.

Maybe the hotels right down the road - Quality Inn Meadowlands? Just a shot in the dark.

My office is a mile from the arena, so I'll be working late and heading right on over.  There is an Applebees right off of Patterson Plank Road which is the road that leads to the arena (from route 17).  There is also a Houlihans not too far off on the southbound side of Route 17 in East Rutherford.

Or we can party at my office?

There are some few gentleman bars in the vicinity but they are of the "you probably need a HAZMAT" suit variety.
