Guns N Roses = Best band of all time

« Reply #86 on: November 05, 2011, 03:27:02 AM »

People this show was amazing!!! Axl was in such an awesome mood and having a lot of fun. The sound was incredible. He talked a bit about how he and Izzy came up with "Don't Cry", and that was the beginning of Guns N' Roses. His voice rocked, and of course the band rocked as well. I was right up front and center. Got there at 2 in the afternoon to ensure that. Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that it was beyond incredible. This was my first Guns show and I was blown away.

The place was indeed full.   It may not have been an official sold-out crowd......but if it wasn't, it didn't miss by much.

On another note.....this was my 5th different tour seeing GN'R (1991, 1993, 2002, 2006 and now 2011).   This show was my favourite.   Still on a high from the show.    3 hours of rocking. Axl sounding great...was constantly talking with the crowd and seemed like he was in a down right great mood.   The band was great as a whole and seem really to gel together.  Went with some non-GN'R fans.....they absolutely loved the show....commenting how great Richard, DJ and Bumblefoot were (and as a unit).

I hope future shows are as great as last nights........and everyone will be in for a treat!

I do think people shouldn't pay so much attention on whether the show is 2 1/2 hours, 2 hours 45 mins, or 3 hours. If you go out expecting 3 hours and to hear the best set from the tour, you may miss a few songs and be let down. Just hope for a solid performance, and I'm sure that will be satisfying.
