...ABSURD!!

« on: September 14, 2011, 11:14:17 PM »

I was going thru my emails, and came upon one from Live Nation, that Sebastian Bach is playing at the Irvine Plaza in NYC on Nov 10th, obviously I have no idea if he and his band will be billed again with GNR(though that would rock)!, we have no idea of dates for shows in NYC for GNR , but we know there hasn't been any thing announced for the say 8, 9 ,10th, or 11th for that matter. But hey one can dream, with GNR rolling out tour dates, and Bach doing a show in NYC, around the time of dates already confirmed, ...anyway its just an exciting thought, definitely not confirmed or known, but it would make my day if this week they announce NYC .MSG , or other venue in the area. Btw I will catch Bach, if anyone in NY wants, presale is tomorrow,  Sept 15th, pass is speaker. presale starts at 10am. Tix $29.50.

I seriously don't get that comment, Baz can fill small venues all by himself, and I'm sure he's quite comfortable in doing so. When Sebastian has opened for GN'R, it's because Axl genuinely wanted it, and the majority of GN'R fans love Baz, and the relationship he had with Guns back in 1988-1993, back when he was in Skid  Row. I think people like seeing Baz and Axl tour together, simply because Baz rocks, and him and Axl are genuine friends, which is a warm thing to see in todays music industry.

So I for one agree with jazjme, Baz is welcome to set the stage for Guns again... we all know he will rock it!!!!!. Grin

What kind of small venues are we talking about here? I doubt Baz could fill a coffee house by himself  hihi.. I like Baz and all , but its been done. He's opened for him...several...several...several times. It's great that they are friends, really it is. I think its great that he has brought Baz out for just about every tour they have been on since 2006. Is it going to be that way every single time they tour for the rest of GnR's career? God, I hope not. Just sayin...

I would definitely like to see Sebastian open for GN'R again -- he has a new album coming out so it would be a new show.

And maybe Axl could surprise us and join him for "Stuck Inside". yes

Bring back Helmet.

Actually, I love Helmet and will be seeing them for the 3rd time in one month.  First time was when they opened for GNR
