I'm there! Gonna fly to Minneapolis, then to Chicago, then back to Vegas. Got a great deal at $346 for all three flights.

I'll be there.  Staying at Hotel Minneapolis Sunday night.  Let's get together and watch NFL in the afternoon and some GnR that night!  Anybody have a preference on pre-concert bar? Sneaky Pete's, Bootleggers...?

I'm there - Coming down from forty miles north of Detroit Lakes. Used to live in Bloomington. Anyways; gonna be staying at the City Center Marriot. Get to town the day before the gig - anyone else gonna be in town earlier than the gig? Would be down for a few drinks or something.

@mnsotapop - What about the Depot Tavern? Or calling and arranging a pre-party at the Hard Rock? Or we just light rail a bunch of Gunners to the mall and create some debauchery haha. I'm sure the mall would just loveeeee a bunch of Gunners overtaking their Hot Topic reject and wanna be Abercrombie models that loiter around.

I'll be attending this show as well, yes! -- really looking forward to it. Smiley

Or calling and arranging a pre-party at the Hard Rock?

The Hard Rock is closing on Sept. 30th, too bad, they were right across the street.

The only thing halfway good about the Hard Rock was some of the cool music memorabilia.  It was a shtty tourist trap other than that.  Unless someone else wants to volunteer(??) I'll check around with some places near Target Center and get something set up for the HTGTH folks to meet at before the show.  I'm not a big fan of Sneaky Pete's or Bootleggers normally, but they do have large spaces and a lot of tv's for watching the NFL games in the afternoon.  Since it's a Sunday night, I don't think we will have to worry about huge non-GnR crowds.

I agree, The Hard Rock sucks. Pay twice as much for the same beer you would anywhere else. It's been a LONG time since I've hung around Downtown Minneapolis (December 2006 actually, lol) but I would say anyplace within a 5 minute walk to Target Center would work. I'm not picky. (Won't be watching football though, NASCAR is in Phoenix that day, was going to go, but Gn'R is a bit more important to me!  Grin )

Unless there are any objections, comments, I'm going to try and get an area reserved for us at Bootleggers before the concert.  I don't believe they have food so eat before you come if you want more than a liquid dinner!  I have a room at the Minneapolis Hotel so I'll check in there about 3:00pm then head to Bootleggers about 5:00.  I'll wait and see who the opening band is before I know when I'll leave.  If GnR doesn't go on till 10-11 I don't want to get there too early.
