God Save the Queen after a little flub - Duff thought they were playing New Rose! http://yfrog.com/h3djgixj

They were playing it, but Dick Manitoba jumped the gun.

He ran out for his God Save The Queen/Kick Out The Jams duties one song early, and unfortunately they halted New Rose after the intro and never went back to it. At least we got to hear it at sound check.

Always good to see the ex-GN'R and current/ex/whatever-status VR guys together... but definitely was not a great show. Kudos to Slash for his work w/ Road Recovery and helping them help kids, but man, the opening Road Recovery acts were brutal. After them, Miggs was at least just "meh". As for Ours... the less said the better.

highlights were Tiauana Jail, Mama Kin, Slither, and Easy for me.

New Rose really really shoulda been played and i'm very mad at Manatoba about this. God Save the Queen was a train wreck.

Showed up at 4PM for the VIP/Soundcheck meet and greet thing. Lined up in one line, then they split the line. We got our wristbands and then went inside for the soundcheck. Was cool to see everyone practicing and like was said before, it was real unorganized. Slash said multiple times they were making it up as they went. After the soundcheck the VIP got lined up for autographs and photos - except there was NO memorabilia signings, they would ONLY sign the poster provided by the RoadRecovery people. Also, instead of taking photos with your own camera or alone with whoever you want - you had to stand with 6 strangers and get group photos. Really, really poorly organized, and was definitely not worth the money paid. The money goes to a good cause, sure - but I still got shafted by this whole thing. I could have paid the $25 bucks, and been right up front when GA doors opened.

Cool part of the night was getting a picture taken with Jeremy Piven. He was standing side-stage during the soundcheck and I walked over and asked him for a photo if he wasn't busy. After finishing up whatever on his iPhone he jumped down, took a picture with me and ran back up on stage. There was a few other people that wanted pictures but I was lucky enough to grab one.

Was cool to see VR + friends on stage, had an 'okay' time, but still overall it was a meh night.

Yea from what I gather, it was hardly a UYI reunion...more like a Campy Freddy type gig or the Slash and Friends shows.   Still looks like they did some cool songs like Mama Kin and Knockin On Heaven's Door.

I've enjoyed watching the videos from it, although I have no idea who any of the lead singers were.  It was great to see Slash, Duff, Matt, and Dave on stage together again; and Slash, Duff, Matt, and Gilby.
