McNabb is such a bum. I heard him on Mike and Mike this morning talking about how the last 2 years have been hard. He was used to playing in Philly with "guys who made plays." He wants to go somewhere where it's the right situation with the right players around him.
Here's an idea fat ass: How about YOU go play somewhere and make THEM better?

Time for Chicago to give McNabb a call.

I am a believer now. Holy shit! This guy is fun to watch.
btw, yes, there's no way Hanie gives them a qb that can get them to the playoffs. I agree with ya AxlsMainMan.
p.s. let me clarify: Mcnabb definitely disappointed in Minnesota this season...but here's why he would be a good addition for Chicago...he doesn't throw picks. He completed 60%+ with 4 td's and only 2 picks this season with the Vikes.
Chicago's defense shuts people down.
The loss of Forte is big though. If Forte's out for an extended period of time, da Bears definitely won't make a move for McNabb. No Cutler-no Forte equals no playoffs.
It probably won't happen though.

On second thought, I like this idea a whole lot better
Sound the horn! Brett Favre is open to another NFL return.
At least according to a Monday report by ESPN, which cited a source familiar with the ol' gunslinger in saying he would listen to the Chicago Bears if they came calling.

I give up trying to figure Tebow out. He's an enigma. I'll get to see him work his magic more closely next week against the Patriots. As much as I rag on his QB skills, I fully expect him to light up the Patriots secondary. If Tyler Palko and Dan Orlovsky can do it, there's no reason he can't. I guess I can't feel safe with ANY lead against the Broncos either because they always seem to come back. I'm starting to think this whole ultra religious ordeal is carrying Tebow and the Broncos. That's the only explanation I can come up with. I'll be able to give a more detailed review after next weeks game.

I'm really hoping he can beat the Pats. It would at least give the Jets an outside chance to win the division.

Not likely. They'd have to run the table and the Pats would have to lose out to the Broncos and at home to the Bills and Dolphins. That's not going to happen. I can pretty much assure you of that. Jets will have to get in their usual style and go the wild card route, which has worked the past few years so I wouldn't worry about it.
I'm still not convinced the Patriots can win a playoff game, not with that defense. Quoted for truth, "That secondary is probably the worst secondary I've seen in the last decade." Rodney Harrison on Patriots secondary.

Yeah, i looked at their last few games after Denver. Its improbable they'd loose to one of those two to give the Jets any chance. You're right though their defense doesn't exactly give you a warm fuzzy feeling.

My favorite comment about Tebow is that he's the 'Milton Berle' of the NFL. The story on Milton Berle is that he was reputed to have the most enormous dong in all of Hollywood and that, one day, a would-be challenger called him on it by whipping out his own. Berle then countered by displaying his manhood, showing that he had an inch or so on the other guy. However, a bystander noted to Berle that, from the stories, he had heard, Berle's weiner was supposedly much bigger than what he had just saw. To which Berle responded -- "I showed just enough to win".

Bears wide receiver Sam Hurd was in jail Thursday after authorities accused him of trying to set up a drug distribution network in the Chicago area and arrested him after he allegedly agreed to buy a kilogram of cocaine from an undercover agent.
According to the federal complaint, Hurd was arrested Wednesday night after meeting with the agent at a Chicago restaurant. The complaint contends Hurd told the agent that he was interested in buying five to 10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week to distribute.
