People also aren't taking into account the absolute horrendous team he has also. Traded his number 1 WR, no O line, MacGahee hurt.. Moreno sucks... etc.

Out for the season, enter Matt Leinart. Ouch! Hope that doesn't put a damper on Arian Foster's fantasy potential for the rest of the season.
Also, to a lesser extent, looks like Matt Cassel might be done for the season as well.

I'd rather have Leinart at qb than Tebow.
Tyler Palko on the other hand...although he did get his college starting gig over Flacco which forced Joe to transfer to my state of Delaware!

What is wrong with me? As bad as my picks are, and opinions on football players/teams are...they're not half as bad as that stinkin' Jets offense.
Holy shite! God they suck. Plaxico couldn't get separation on a deep pattern if he was covered by a defensive tackle. Plax is a red zone target and that's it.
Sanchez looks terrible out there.
The Jets are in major trouble.
The Broncos actually have a better shot of making the playoffs.
Wow.
These Tebow games better start garnering some national audiences on Sundays. That last drive was magical.

I still don't quite know what to think of Tebow. It's something we've never seen before. Basically he plays poorly for 55 minutes, but plays like an All Pro for the final 5 to win the game. Seems the game plan is for him to not screw things up early on, keep things close, then let him loose for the game winning drive. You can't argue with the results. If he ever becomes a factor passing the ball, and eventually I think he will, watch out.
Teams could also catch up to this gimmick offense like they did with Miami's Wildcat. Just have to wait and see. It's still early.

^ It's pretty clear at this point that Tebow is really Jesus and there's no way to gameplan against Jesus.
Actually, I don't think it's a gimmick offense like the Wildcat, it's a pretty straightforward run option, nothing fancy about it. You have the ESPN pundits now saying that by next season NFL defensive coordinators will have studied and caught up to Tebow. What? Maybe I'm missing something, but the Broncos don't exactly appear to be running some complex voodoo offensive scheme that takes a year to understand.
I think it's just a matter of Tebow being better one-on-one (and often even one-on-two, three) than most NFL defenders. Anyway, I hope he continues to succeed, if only to show that there's more than one way to play quarterback in the NFL.

look everyone, i like Tim Tebow, but he has just posted 2 of the worst games by a winning quarterback in NFL History. The last 3 games they happened to catch teams at the right times, the Raiders in Carson's first game, The Chiefs who are completely banged up and the Jets coming off a crushing loss to the Pats then a cross country trip to Denver 3 days later. I will be interested to see how they stack up against teams that are playing at the top of their game.

It's a gimmick offense in the sense that NOBODY has run that type of offense consistently in the NFL probably EVER. It's certainly not an offense that has never been seen before, but NFL defenses are not accustomed to playing against it. Teams WILL catch on, it's only a matter of time. It happens to every successful, or different offense. And before I go any further, let's not get carried away. It's not like the Broncos offense is working wonders. Their offense is downright AWFUL up until the final drive for the most part. So they have as much work to do, if not more, than opposing defenses.
I agree with Bodhi. No disrespect to the teams they've beaten, but they have caught them all at the perfect moment. I mean, the Jets made the Patriots defense look like world beaters on Sunday night, which they clearly aren't. They had guys from off the streets playing defense that game. Regardless though, a win is a win, and you can't take away the fact that Tebow just keeps on winning.

Exactly he has played terrible teams! What happened when he played a decent team? The Lions killed him, OVERRATED
