well it isn" option...why?If you want to be co headliner with some band you have to share profit on same pieces or popularity of the bands have to equal or same...In GNR & MC tour, you have one extremelly popular band Guns n Roses and one opening band MC...It isn"t posible co headlining tour between GNR and MC...GNR can do that with Metallica or bon Jovi, but also I don"t see interest for it because GNR can sellout arenas and stadiums across the globe

all possible. but when looking at numbers in these days Axl would have to open for Metallica, a co-headlining "could" work, but its the same with MC/GN'R where MC better be the openers.

So, Motley would've opened for GN'R?  Grin

That must've been the idea.... Anything else would've been silly.

/jarmo

Saw Motley last week. Wow, they were really awesome.  Plus it's crazy how it is still the original 4 guys. Are they GNR? No, but they fucking rock and put on a hell of a show!

What about the Crue fans that went to and enjoyed it John Corabi was in the band? Or was that not Motley Crue?

Wasn't the original, this is. They, Cr?e, still have a pretty big following.

It would have been one of those equal headline tours like Metallica and Guns back in the 90's.

GN'R toured with Crue during Girls, Girls, Girls.

M?tley figures such as Nikki continue to perpetuate the bad blood between themselves and GN?R by questioning aspects of the band?s operation and integrity. For that reason I would be reluctant to see GN?R facilitate M?tley?s agenda.

Whilst a co-headlining tour would have its advantages it?s ultimately unnecessary given the existence of ... "a comprehensive touring agreement in which Guns 'N Roses would perform at various...venues.". Smiley

huh? there is absolutely nothing about "questioning aspects of GN'R operation and integrity" in this:

According to Nikki Sixx:

It was the result of a fan poll the band took, Sixx said, that led to the decision to tour with Poison. Well, kind of. Poison was actually the third choice.

?The fans chose Guns ?N Roses first, Def Leppard second and Poison third and we?re like, ?Really?? he said. ?We talked to Guns ?N Roses, talked to Def Leppard, talked to Poison who was available and the other two weren?t[...]?

right now its just another silent period in Guns camp again.

I know everyone is supposed to hate Motley as a Guns fan due to the Vince vs Izzy/Axl thing 22 years ago but u can't deny Motley are a great fucking band.

I mean hell, Axl hired one of them as his lead guitarist and he is awesome.

yeah, but since the Axl info (on twitter?) with smth. like "to take a break for a week or 3 or so" it was pretty much silent and still seems to be until october - which i'm looking forward to.

TV broadcast please!!!!!

Yes... yes, you can. The Axl/Vince thing has nothing to do with it. They're just awful.

Never got into that band.

Never got into any of the other "L.A. bands".

I got into GN'R because they were different.

Who? Mick Mars was never in GN'R.

Silent in what way?

Rock In Rio was announced in March. And then we'd have news of other shows since then.

The band hasn't been out touring yet this year, but it's obviously not as silent as some might suggest.

Axl tweeted like two weeks ago...

Oh Jarmo, don't be silly!!!  D is obviously talking about Kevin Bacon!!!

Kevin Bacon was in "Wild Things" with Denise Richards who was in "Blonde and Blonder" with Pamela Anderson who was married to Tommy Lee who's in "Motley Crue" with Nikki "Sixx degrees of Kevin Bacon"!!!!

DJ wrote every song pretty much on Saints Of Los Angeles and is no secret if Mick's health gets to the point he can't tour, DJ would be the Motley guitarist. not sure now but pre GNR for sure.

So what part of what you just said makes him a member of said band? Nothing.

Hello anybody home? Think McFly!  Wink

Stop trolling.  Tongue

You saw how unpopular the band is and had to make some kind of statement to try to stir shit up because you happen to like MC.

no but when a member of GNR is in a band with Nikki and composes Motley albums its almost dissing DJ by hating on Motley so much. If u say Saints Of Los Angeles sucks.. u are in a roundabout way saying DJ sucks.

also how is it trolling when i genuinely LOVE Motley Crue. I own every album and think they are great.

so if i love Motley and disagree.... I can't post?

Come on!

You can't be fucking serious......

I refuse to think anybody believes what you just said.

There's no logic to your way of thinking (or not thinking in this case).

So if you don't like a song co-written by Desmond Child (for example, "Livin' La Vida Loca"), you're saying Bon Jovi sucks?  Tongue

I bet you wouldn't. I bet you realize Desmond doesn't write the same kind of song for Ricky and Jon.

Now why would Dj's work with Motley or Nikki have anything to do with what he does with GN'R?

You're just upset because you think people should like Motley Crue because of Dj.

Makes sense now why you like some of the bands you're into. Your logic tells you that you have to like them.... Because you like GN'R.  hihi

I see ur point on the Desmond Child thing and if people don't like Motley's music that is fine but if there are some who don't like them just because the Axl/Vince spat.. i think that is kind of ridiculous.

Motley isn't GNR but they are way above the "LA" bands u talk about though.
