Guns N' Roses concert in Bolivia, which will take place in October, may take place in Santa Cruz, and not La Paz, as planned.

Producer Abel Espejo said everything is ready for the arrival of the legendary rock group leaded by Axl Rose, but not in the capital La Paz.

"Our original intention was to hold the concert on La Paz, which is the most important place of the country, But the governement won't give permission for us to use the Hernando Siles Stadium, which would be the perfect place for a event that big", said Espejo.

The producer explanied that, if they can't use the stadium, La Paz would lose the opportunity to host one of the biggest musical events in the country. The governement said that the stadium can't be used because it has to be repaired.

The social communication area explained that the sports area has to be ready for the FIFA 2014 BRAZIL WORLD CUP qualifyings.

Espejo said that the place is not defined yet "We are looking for options to host the event at La Paz, we want it there", said the producer.

lets and hope and see. Bolivia is a very poor country but beautiful. I took my wife there 5 years ago. La paz at altitude will be interesting...hope Axl doesn`t get too out of breath. I hope for the bolivian people they get the concert they deserve.

I am from Bolivia and I would prefer the concert to be held in Santa Cruz... Awsome weather, hot girls, no alttitude. Perfect for a GN'R concert Smiley

So we got two different rumors saying GN'R might play in Bolivia and Paraguay. Does any of the articles say anything about when the promoters expect to know more?

About the show in Paraguay, the article says the name of the american band will be reveiled this next friday.

The article about Bolivia says that the promoter Abel Espejo said ''everything's ready'' for Guns to come to Bolivia, but there is a serious issue about the place where the show should happen.

The rumour about the show in Bolivia seems to me much more solid than the one in Paraguay.

I am from Tarija-Boliva. Months ago I found the following facebook page http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=143048052414723
Back in the day I didn't think it was possible to have a GN'R concert in my country cuz as a member wrote we are indeed a poor country, not as poor as you might think but we have never had a great rock band playing in here. So when I first read about it I was super exited but being realistic I still won't believe it till the official GN'R pages confirm it. Today I found this article http://www.la-razon.com/version.php?ArticleId=133264&EditionId=2582 when it says that the show is confirmed but the place is still to be decided as La Paz (the original venue) will be in arrangements for this years world soccer cup qualifiers games. Hope it's true, of course I'm gonna be there no matter what, even if I have to quit my job in order to go. fingers crossed!!!

October 2 - Brazil
October 5 - Chile
October 8 - Argentina
October 11 - Paraguay
October 13 - Bolivia

Sounds great!

Now add a few dates in Caribe, M?xico, and we have the Latin, and not SOUTH American Tour that the poster says.

And looks like they'll go straight north to the US after it.

Sounds promising!
