Hey guys, I've started a fan campaign to help pass the time while we wait for more tour dates and another album, to help get Axl on the Showtime hit, Dexter. I've set up a facebook page, and I'm trying to get as many GNR fans as I can behind this, so we can make as much noise as possible so that the folks over at Showtime take notice and offer Axl a spot on the show.

I would love to see Axl as one of the killers that Dexter hunts down. It's no secret to anyone who follows GNR fan forums that Axl is a fan of the show, just check his screen name...

If you would like to help, and get involved, we can use you, just head over to the facebook page and hit "Like"

I know it seems Axl doesn't like to get involved in things like that too much, but that would be so freakin awesome. I don't have Showtime and have been buying the boxsets over the years. That would get me to sign up for Showtime!!! beer

Just because Axl is a fan of the show doesn't mean he's interested in being on it.  No offense, but this is a little stupid.

I've got a better idea, how about a "Help Get Axl Rose on a U.S  Tour" thread.... hihi    Seriously though, who knows if he even wants to be on the show?"

This is an absolutely brilliant idea! Axl would be fabulous on DEXTER! Hey the facebook campaign worked for Betty White!

Yes, its a brilliant idea!  I have another one.  Lets start a facebook page to get get to run for president of the United States!  I think he would be a great president!  Or, maybe I'll start a page to get Axl to host SNL, like you said, it worked for Betty White!

Maybe as a small cameo......but for the sake of touring and any new music on the horizon....I don't think it will serve me well if Axl Rose becomes too focused on acting at this stage of his life Grin

could be easier to see the whole band in a Californication episode, imagine Hank Moody going to a Guns gig...

Yeah, Californication seems like a more likely place.

Considering the storyline etc.

The second I read the title, that's what came to my mind... I mean, GN'R has been mentioned too many times, the Stinson connection...

In his wonderful introduction to Del James', The Language of Fear, Axl said that he always wanted to try acting.  Johnny Lee Miller was an amazing villain, and I think Axl could be as well.
