I wonder what kind of marketing genius thought of that. Hard to imagine the marketing people sitting around a table thinking of GNR stuff to sell to the public and someone says, "I know, let's do a spoon and fork set." Usually in marketing you have to identify the target audience, so it would be interesting to be a fly on the wall and have heard that answer.

My guess would be that is something out of "The Spaghetti Incident" era.
Why, there is no knife, and spaghetti is something that is normally eaten with a fork and spoon.
So would be a nice catch to have with the spaghetti case filled with, well, spaghetti!

Could very well be something that was displayed in stores or something, or send out to stations with the album.
I imagine spaghetti is not that common in Japan, so would make a nice extra teaser for stores and stations perhaps?
