Yeah, that's certainly what I'd assume.  While GNR is in a down time, he's filling the void by joining Thin Lizzy.  Once GNR reconvenes, Richard will be there front and center.

I hope that is the case, Richard is a top bloke and sits well in GNR, hate to see him go.

The only sad part is we know that GNR isn't writing any material this summer with everyone doing there own thing..

That would seem to be the case.  From what we've heard though, we've been led to believe that the next album would be made up of songs that were already written for the CD sessions.  So while I'd love to hear what this lineup could come up with, that doesn't mean we won't necessarily hear new music.

Oh well, I'm seeing Fortus on Thursday when they come to my town, this will be my 2nd time seeing Lizzy in the space of 6 months. And the first time seeing Fortus since GNR gig.

I just listened to the Planet Rock interview with Scott. It's gonna be a Vivan gig, but Richard is coming on for a few songs as well, playing Ricky's guitar like in the Chicago show.

Went to see Richard with Lizzy on Thurs in Swindon - he fits in perfectly, really cool to see him up there. He looked like he was having a blast.
