Last time GN'R played RIR (2001) they delighted many w/ the HOB New Years (Eve) warm up!! Hopefully they will do an east coast one this time..

Well I don't think warm-up would be the right word, as I feel they are going to be doing something touring wise before Rio in October. There is quite a while yet until Rio, so who knows maybe the US will get a small stint of dates somewhere before.

Or they might decide to arrange some South American dates around Aug, Sept. Or they could indeed hit a few of the standout citys in the US, for instance Las Vegas, New York, Los Angeles etc.

But at this point everything is speculation regarding anything other than the Rio confirmed date. But of course you feel they have to do something in a live capacity before then, it is almost 7 months away.

Whether, they decide to leave it a while and then decide to do some warm up shows around Sep, or whether they decide to commit to a full tour (US) (SA), over the next couple of months before Rio, is anyone's guess.
