What is Mr. Stormtrooper?  Assuming a guitar solo?

I will avoid downloading vid's if they don't come from the same source and are not full show, what's the point to clutter your hard drive...
still waiting for the last one to upload the last 2 parts though, great source.

Just back from the show, soaked and very cold!

The rain was torrential and the stage and audience were soaked yet the band put on a killer gig and the audience was crazy!  Anyone trying to judge it from youtube is a fool!

Tell it like it is, AdZ!   Grin  Wink
Seriously, thanks to you and Greg for the very prompt first-hand reports - and congratulations Greg!   beer

It's great to hear such positivity from people who were there in the midst of the intensity of it all.

I'm still in shock from hearing Estranged again and, having heard it played live quite a number of times, I can't remember when it's sounded better.  Not only Axl's vocals which were amazing but the guitars too; Ron and Dj were brilliant.

Other highlights were TIL and Sorry.  I don't know whether Axl's subtle lyric changes during Sorry were intentional but, if not, then he's bloody good at improvising and making it sound even better than the original.

Finally, just to say that, as ever, loved Dizzy's tinkling of the ivories.  Often overlooked and underrated by outsiders, I consider him a vital component of the band and am so happy that he's stuck with it all these years.

I thought the show was totally awesome. THIS I LOVE sounded even better than on the CD!. I felt like I had my own private concert with my laptop in my bed! The sound was great! Axl looked great. It was so cute to see Beta and her family! I lost my connection durung KOHD and missed the last 3 songs but I heard all my other favs, BETTER, WTTJ, ESTRANGED,NR and TIL!

Thanks for agreat show AXL! You totally rocked!

DJ was awesome and hot. Bumble looked great! Frank was awesome!

Can't wait to see you guys in November at the Allstate arena! love smoking beer

Watched on HDTV 1080p, even recorded it, although I don't know how to encode it to be usable on a PC.

Either way, I'm gonna edit out Estranged in 720p and put it on YouTube. Its much much better quality than those YouTube streaming source.

That rain surely made everything more complicated.

Soaked gear and a soaked stage.

Not the most optimal setting for a rock concert.

But the band and crew pulled it off!

Amazing considering the conditions! Smiley

it will be quite interesting to get fans uploads who were actually there, outdoor shows are a pain it chucked it down last year at reading, i seem to remember people getting upset about the sound then but after that and dublin the tour was brilliant  ok

It's really odd that we can't even have a frank discussion of the vocal performance without the topic getting deleted. Like any live performance, there were bright spots and mistakes. I don't see why we have to sugar coat that.

TBH the biggest disappointment for me was not hearing Ballad of Death, I'm not sure if I like DJ's new solo or not. Disappointment makes it hard to focus...I'll have to watch it again in a couple days.

I think the reason he didn't perform the ballad of death was to the fact they were in front of 70.000 brasil fans... they always have a special connection with them.

And I think the ballad is back on wednesday;)

Yeah, I was at both Reading and Dublin and started to get paranoid that I was jinxing them!  But all came right in the end.  Grin

Meant to add when I posted before how relieved I was to see Ron looking as well as he did.  I don't know about the stormtrooper helmet but the guy is one hell of a trooper to perform the way he did after all he's been through.   ok  Saw Axl go to rest his arm on his shoulder at one point and then stop himself just in time.  Grin

I think so too, but I was really hoping to have a proshot, 1080p quality video of it
