I am so-so about the show last night!  I don'T think it was a good idea to start the tour with that show!  And the rain didn't help at all of course.  They should have ended the tour with rock in rio...in my opinion.  A live broadcast of a show has to be well oiled!  If not, live coverage shows all the missed parts and the little errors here and there!

But amazed by Estranged!

review from a guy laying in bed in new jersey.....

so I went to bed at 830pm last night, pretty beat from the night before so it was perfect. I wake up around 1245am, figuring Axl and the boys wouldnt start early (and i was right). I see the forecasts of the rain and was a little scared. But finally the boys came on, the first few songs (chinese, wttj, ise and brownstone) were a little below average. but i could expect that for a bands first show in a while, plus with all the extreme rainful, sounds, etc. just seeing Axl was good enough. but the rest of the show was great for me, the band and Axl were sounding tighter and tighter as the night went on. Axl looked like he was having fun and in good spirits. his moves on stage had to be tame, since there were puddles of rain everywhere! ESTRANGED was easily the highlight for me, tremendous song and the band did it justice. well im at work and need to get my day started, i just wanted to share a few thoughts.....until 11/17/11 and 11/26/11........from a guy who watched it laying in bed in new jersey...... peace

we got to hear quite a bit of the general at the beginning i can`t imagine what kind of lyrics go with it, also is it possible to see them on the other channel everyone kept sayin to change to, to see if the sound was better than youtube

Just for the record, I still consider Rock In Rio 2001 the best Guns N' Roses show ever, but this one was very good indeed...

The second solo of CD, was cool as fuck, and mistakes happen here or there, it's live so enjoy it. And the beginning of Jungle reminded me of a 2006 performance where he just says those words, and let's the band kick in, I think it's better to be honest.

I just want to say that today has made me proud to be a Gunner, and I'm wearing my 2006 tour shirt today to celebrate. I can't wait to hit the road and see this band live again, so far I have 23 GN'R shows, since 2006 under my belt. I want to continue and make it up to 50 at least, wish me luck.  peace Cool

Tuned in during Rocket Queen. The sound/mix quality varied a lot and I bet I wasn't hearing what people at the venue heard. I have to say I am so happy to be able to get a virtually real time experience of something that happened thousands of miles away, on another continent and across an ocean. Seriously, modern technology is awesome, it just made it possible for me to see and hear a "live" performance of both Rocket Queen and Estranged  Cool Sure, you can watch it on YouTube afterwards, but that's not quite the same as watching it as it happens, never mind the technical quality was not top notch all the time.

It'll be interesting to see what surfaces... Youtube video was better -- justin.tv audio was better

But the mix was the mix, no avoiding that... I hope the TV feed finds it way to us

Not sure, but I think before the start of patience they where told to put a closure to it. (that's just my guess)
Maybe patience wasn't the right song to pick either...
