It was a incredible show, only bad thing about it was the rain which didn't stop the entire show.

Quite good show, but they sounded a bit rusty at times. Estranged was the highlight definitely!   Fortunately today has been a relatively slow day at work, so I've had plenty of time to watch the show.

I quite enjoyed it overall, but definitely had some rough spots...quite a few actually. Hopefully they can get them ironed out. I suspect Axl would be benefited by rehearsing with the band a couple of times, seems they need it. They will definitely get tighter as they play more though.

Obviously, he missed some lyrics. But , how do you know he wasn't pissed at his monitor system?  I don't think if you are pissed with yourself, you would react that way outwardly.

He clearly messed up at the end or NR and during patience and was frustrated with himself. He clearly cut the show short a song or two cause of it. I saw him shake the other guys off about something just before PC.

i think his ear moniter wasn`t working properly thats how come he messed up he couldn`t hear himself back so missed his place, the rain was a real dampener but i liked the yellow coat, also the sound on youtube was really poor and seemed to leave his vocals exposed but estranged sounded really good he was strong in kohd they seemed a bit rusty but as we saw last year they pulled it together pretty quick. totally knackered been up since 3am but G`N`R are worth it

That could've been a big part of it. I constantly noticed him messing with the volume on his ear monitors.

It was rough...plain and simple!  I'm not hating, I'm stating the truth and I bet Axl would agree.  Did I enjoy the show still?....yeah, would prefer watching them over anybody else, whenever.  Did I love that they played Estranged? hell yeah!  But after you've been following this band for so long, and especially the last couple years....you know that Axl can sound better, and also be better with the lyrics.  And I'm sure he will in no time.  But I'm not going to sit here and write that he was spot on, and it was his best show, because it wasn't.  I'm just being honest and "real".

But as a guy who knows very little about vocal range, and singing, my question is....How long could it take to get back to hitting all those notes??  There's no doubt that he will (it was only less than a year ago, when he was), but can it take a while?  

Can I ask these honest questions without people saying I'm a hater?  Can we have a legitimate conversation about this?

Definitely some rough spots to the show but I enjoyed it nonetheless....and Estranged.....omg....I will never get over that.  I hope they get tighter before hitting the states!

Great to hear Estranged, shame the shows mood changed a bit after Nov Rain, was just picking up again with KOHD then Patience came along... ah well, these things happen. I know all too well playing in a band with my bro when he messes up the lyrics to our songs! lol.

the debate about what caused it does make me laugh - could've been anything from simply 'one of those things', to a bad mix on stage meaning you lose track of where you are in a song, through to simply not rehearsing enough. there are a multitude of things that can lead to what happened, and once it happens once it is hard to pick yourself back up.... I did like how Ashba noticeably seemed to come over and 'rock out' next to axl to pick him up a bit! lol

I must admit it was a downer to see how the show ended, with all the water onstage and Axl seemed like he was in a bad mood towards the end. But other than that I think the show rocked, and the crowd were just incredible.

Well, you might if you were performing in front of thousands and thousands of people. And yes, absolutely, self-anger is often manifested outwardly like that. And what about the timing? Why was he pissed after the glaring missed lyrics issues, as opposed to random moments throughout the show with his monitor?

I think it was a good show! It have to be difficult for the people who broadcast it right to mix the right sound with all the frequenses in both Axl's voice and the band, so GOOD WORK!!! We're lucky to catch this show live peeps. Not the same as beeing at the venue, but still a magic feeling to watch it real-time  

Can someone tell me wich songs were played between Knockin' and Patience? I had follow my son (wich is named William Axl. He rather wanted to play with tractors than watching though ) to the kindergarten....
