Do you guys really think he sounds that great? I think he sounds OK...his voice is a little pitchy and weak at times. He's also forgetting lyrics left and right, and kinda mumbling when he does.
The band also sounds a little loose to me, though they have tightened up as the show goes on. Axl sounds better now than he did at the start of the show.
Not being a hater, I love Axl and co, I just am surprised by all the people saying his voice sounds amazing and better than ever.
I think 2006 was his high point, personally. Sounds more 2002 to me.
Good show, and the rain can't be easy to deal with.
