There won't be any this time. It will be either Sky and/or Multishow and/or Globo. So what sort of time will the stream start for us europeans, if they come on in Rio at, for example, 23:00?
I was wondering that too. This might be a "dumb American question" but what time zone does RIR happen in? Rio is GMT -3. So if the gig starts at 11 pm here in Brazil, it should be 2 am in England (or maybe 3 am if its on Daylight Saving Time). Russtcb, you're in Detroit, right? I believe it will be 10 pm for you. It's cool that it's so close to my time zone and ahead by an hour at that! So if they go on around 10 or 11, I'll be able to start catching it around 9 or 10. Sweet!

Since I failed to follow the tour and especially to get a ticket for Rio I'm extremely glad there will a live stream, I do hope it's real though and not a hoax.

is the youtube page the only site streaming?? im wanting to watch Elton's set tonight, im in Chicago...im not sure what time he would be on. right now im on the youtube site and its showing me highlights from today.
plus it would be nice to know what to expect from the stream when gnr play as well.

The YouTube channel is streaming live now... Katy Perry and Rihanna will play before Elton John is on, so still a little while. |

One thing I noticed is that YouTube is advertising the headliners of the day on the top of their page. Like right now it says:
Watch Now: Katy Perry, Rihanna and Elton John streaming live from Rock in Rio Festival.
I think this will bring in a lot of unaware people using YouTube, the stream will be great, massive publicity for GN'R.

Kinda worried about the sound. It's not as bad as RIR 2006 but is not that good.
I don't know if it's something of Katy Perry show but guitars are very low and the voice sounds louder than any other sound. But, again, maybe is Katy Perry show...
