Are there going to be any live feeds for this on the interwebs?

Asked about it on their official Formspring. I'll post the answer as soon as I get it.

Thanks for doing that!

I really hope we'll get a live feed, it's got a different feel than watching a recording. Also, would be some cool discussions on the board, knowing everyone will be watching at the same time.

No problem, but I don't think I'll get a concrete answer soon because nothing was announced about anything regarding the broadcast even on the Brazilian TV.

There is three channels/tv operators who are media sponsors: TV Globo (open channel), Multishow (cable channel, owned by Globo) and Sky. If it will be anything like 2001, the last two will broadcast the full-lenghty shows while Globo will only show recaps with the best moments, although they broadcasted the entire GNR show in 2001 for some reason.

As far as internet feed, its really hard to tell. I think the best bet would be the RIR site broadcasting it itself. Maybe the Multishow site, I dunno.

But I think we can at least get the audio feed: there's also a radio sponsor called Mix FM. I think they will broadcast the shows on this hotsite: http://www.rockinrio.com.br/radio/ (not really confirmed, tho).

Remember, even if it has broadcast, doesn't mean they will show every gig.

In 2001, Globo broadcasted all main shows, I remember watching Iron Maiden and REM.

I think Globo streamed only the headliners, and Multishow everything.

Not sure, though.

Not all main shows - Oasis wasn't broadcasted. Maybe just the headliners.

Kinda. Multishow broadcasted all the shows on the main stage and the local artists on a side stage. DirecTV also broadcasted everything, but with an extra channel when there was simultaneous shows, as far as I remember.

Scraped as opener, CD as the 1st encore would work great!
assuming the beginning of the 2011 Axl return will have some significant media response - this way to start the return would give a little new "move on"-touch than just to open with CD or Jungle again. and the Scraped-opener without the "ah ah ah" crap in the beginning, just the start with "dont ya try to stop us now" would kick ass a lot!

just my thoughts  peace

Chinese Democracy should always be the opening imo. The pyro thing in the beggining is the most amazing thing in the concert. So much energy at that moment when you're about to see the band...
