I love this guy, I think he my fav GNR guitarist ever... It really bums me out that he never got the lead, I mean I love bucket's work, but damn I could only imagine Richard taking the helm

Richards cool, good to see how things worked, and glad that Buckethead was successful getting the gnr gig and after seeing richard live in dec  2010 as well as 2007, good to see him in the band too!

any bit of information on gnr that comes out of the words of the people that have been/or are in the band is always invaluable!

Cool interview.  But he left the best part of the story out; on his way back from the audition while waiting for his flight a guy came up to him and said "Hey are you Izzy from Guns N' Roses?" and Richard said "No, but I think I just took his job."  hihi
