If they did there would be no songs off CD. It would be exciting to see though I guess. I would trip out sure but, I would be nervous for Axl. After the 2001 VMA appearance I wouldn't want anything to go wrong again. I am a fan but its just never a sure thing. I wish it was more like whenever Paul McCartney performers, and you know you will always 100% of the time get a great appearance and nothing will go wrong. This kind of drama is one of the reasons I love Axl but, I digress. I don't see the NFL taking the chance.

I also don't see Axl doing this one off with the original line-up. Although maybe that is almost a way to get everyone off his dick about a reunion. "Look I am doing this one off this one time so everyone can shut the fuck up and I and the more badass new version of GN'R can finally move on."

There is just too many reasons why this won't happen. So maybe in the twisted world of GN'R where nothing makes sense... this might actually happen?

I would imagine if the band did perform at the Superbowl it would be along the lines of the Stones production, and would feature the original line up (more or less, Alder probably won't be invited and Izzy will probably decline for personal reasons)

They'd perform some kind of melody featuring 'Only Women Bleed' before Knocking On Heaven's Door...the whole thing would be quite expensive, and they'd film it as well

Yep, cringeworthy indeed. 

I don't see GN'R playing the halftime show, it just doesn't seem like something Axl would do.

But if it was to happen, I would hope it would be heavily based on Chinese Democracy material. Maybe they could do a medley which incorporated a classic, into the setlist of CD songs.
