Rolling Stone's Facebook Fans Name Top 10 Debut Albums Watch clips from each pick, including LPs by the Strokes, Jimi Hendrix and Pearl Jam

1. Guns N' Roses, 'Appetite For Destruction'

Guns N' Roses' 1987 debut Appetite For Destruction won this poll by a decisive margin, accounting for over 10 percent of votes. This isn't such a surprise given that it also happens to be the top-selling debut of all time in the United States. Here's the video for "Paradise City," one of the record's monster hit singles.

at first I thought "surprisingly, no Nevermind on the list", and I remembered of Bleach.

I thought Jagged Little Pill from Alanis had take over this record from AFD.

Anyways, always nice to see this album getting the deserved attention.

Jagged Little Pill is the top-selling debut record worldwide. I guess that's why the writer mentioned "in the US".

Well deserved, who can argue against that result.

Appetite is just amazing from start to finish, and it captured a moment in time. Welcome To The Jungle is a fierce true look at Hollywood streets, and Rocket Queen finishes the album off perfectly by demonstrating Axl's lovely sensitive side.

This album is the soundtrack to my life, epic indeed.  ok

Not to mention Alanis had two prior albums out, called, Alanis and Now is the Time but they were Canadian releases only. Though Jagged Little Pill is the highest global debut, on her 3rd album.

I pretty much agree with the list but Nirvana'a BLEACH or The Who "My Generation" should be there instead of The Clash ( I could never get into them)
