Ok, I finally found out a way for anyone to donate as much as they want. It's from Nelson Piquet, Nascar driver (ex-F1), who set up a Paypal account to help the Rio cause.
He posted on his
verified Twitter account:

Donate using PayPal: The email is donate4rio@gmail.com!As much as I dislike his professional behavior, I do believe this is the best way to anyone in the world to help. He is obviously a fellow Brazilian and, as a famous person, wouldn't misuse the money recieved. So, please, spread the word around - there's already 635 deaths and counting here.
Edit: anyone concerned if it's really the Nascar driver, there's several news reporting it here (
like this one, with him confirming it by phone with a TV station).
Also,
he said he will double any donation made. So yeah, that's pretty much the best way right now for global donations.
