This was recorded a while ago, but it is now apparently available to buy if you want. Looks like only 6 of the 8 tracks are being released as of now.

Found these links at the Alter Bridge site.

They are all live tracks but in the studio. You can hear a bunch of spots where the guitars or vocals are messed up, so you can tell they pretty much just recorded the band and Myles playing the songs all the way through. Kind of like the Slash live recordings but with studio caliber recording. I remember Slash posted on Twitter they did 8 songs for the day, so I am sure they will all come out at some point.
