The band sounds as good as I've probably ever heard them.

Whoa.

Rock n' roll, Sydney!

Wow, ok ive had about 5 hours sleep since getting to the v8's at 8:30.am

Got to meet some cool people in the lineup from the forums, and then we were allowed into the stadium at 4:00 pm.

3 coffees later and we were sitting through delta riggs, and it started to pelt down with rain.
Not a good sign, and some fucking idiot through a glass beer bottle near them and smashed everywhere.

Anyways, spiderbait came on, not that good really and did their set , 20 or so minutes after the guns n fuckin roses show kicked off.

Non stop in your mother fucking face music, richard was excellent , bumbles solo was senfuckingsational and dj was giving the crowd love nonstop all night. He started playing his guitar with franks drumstick at one point haha!

Shook hands with Del and Fernando during the show, and waved to Beta and Vanessa. The crowd loved every song, and for me this i love, street of dreams and better were the fucking best of the show (out of a very very good show). A few people that were near me and saw Guns back in 93 at eastern creek, said Axls vocals last night were way better and some even said he hasn't soundedt his good since 88.

Great fucking show, the band were awesome and I just wanna throw a big fucking thankyou to Ron for everything hes done during this tour with the fans both on and offstage. He just gives so much to the fans and is the best thing that has happened to this band in a loooooong time.

Seeya fuckers in Adelaide/

Can't believe people are complaining they were late on stage  rofl

Onstage by nine o'clock is hard to fathom yet people still complain they were up to two hours late and blame Axl alone, it shows how media agenda can actually effect the views of the mindless drones who adhere to the beliefs of music critics in papers. More so, I think its a case of one person saying something and having it snowball, easier then thinking for yourself I guess.

Much like the lip syncing allegations that are coming from everywhere this morning, I guess the Floyd and AC/DC covers are synced also.

Concert was absolutely phenomenal, just no pleasing some people when their minds are already made up prior to the event. 99% of people left ecstatic but its the other one percent who bitch on the internet.

Axl is being persecuted over here for the use of effects and backing tracks in songs like Madagascar and Sorry, etc it seems.

Regardless, the show was amazing, the band was incredible. Frank was an absolute monster, Stinson and Fortus were really into it from start to finish, Dizzy and Pitman got a lot of recognition given to them which was great to see and Bumblefoot was, well, words can not explain this guys talent and personality. He is Guns'N'Roses all over. DJ was good but I hardly ever seen him, they need to keep the dude on a chain seriously. Like he has a bad case of ADHD, haha.

Axl is nearing fifty years old and I can't think of many people who could match it with him in terms of stage presence, energy , attitude and delivery no matter their age. He is out of this world but we already knew that.

Long set, I wrecked just watching it. Can't imagine how drained the band are today.

Highlights were seeing This I love live, getting to see Madagascar again and Nightrain which they absolutely nailed. Ron again in particular.

I notice in the comments that the guy posting these top quality videos was using a compact camera so there are EVEN better videos out there yet.

I seen two people filming with proper video recorders in the pit alone and these guys mention another two rows back, let alone in the stands.

Hopefully we get great video of the whole set.

I'm thinking V8Supercars may of also filmed this, can anybody confirm that?
