Thank God, I will be listening to this all week now, you watch.  Grin

Actually last night I was wondering what happened to Dizzys' songs from his myspace. I love Fracas, Sea Monkeys and Mother Taresa.

But Tommy always delivers, I hope his album is released soon, I'll be getting it for sure.  Smiley

Is there a new Tommy record on the way?

Village Gorilla Head is utterly fantastic.

Good stuff, very mellow.  Good to see the guys ARE working on new music, even if it's not for GNR.

I asked Tommy about it and he said early next year, that was the plan in September...

So, hopefully it'll be out by the time they tour the US...

My Peoples,

Thanks to you, we raised over $50,000 in my auction to help the Timkatec schools in Haiti.  As a token of appreciation, I give to you "One Man Mutiny."  You can watch the video, and download the MP3 for free.  I can hardly express how much this has all meant to myself and to those involved.  It's all especially impressive considering the current world economic climate.

"One Man Mutiny" was inspired by a conversation between our tour manager Del James, Richard Fortus, and myself somewhere in Ireland.  The video is Dizzy Reed, Richard, and I recording the song live to my laptop in the restaurant of the Conrad Hotel in Brussels, Belgium.  Thanks to Richard & Dizzy for helping to make the song what it is - well done, men!

It's a real good tune.  "Village Gorilla Head" is a fantastic album and really looking forward to the new one that Tommy puts out.

Nice to have a bit of a story on the birth of the song; I wonder if he wrote it with someone specific in mind or of a certain incident.

Cool song!

Village Gorilla Head is a really good album. I had the fortune of seeing Stinson live in 2004 (w. that album) at Loppen in Christiania, Copenhagen. The show was downright terrific, despite Tommy having a sore throat. Lots of GNR and Replacement fans there and even two NIN (!) fans decked out in black tour regalia shirts and buzz cuts (b/c of Finck maybe, dunno). Everybody got along great. Tommy took the time and chatted with everyone before and after the show.

Awesome evening.
