If Bach started at, 19:30, he is scheduled an hour, off at 20:30pm ish.

Why does there have to be a curfew for an indoor event?  Is the sound-proofing that bad for the O2?  If not noise, then what is the issue?

Many London gig goers make use of public transport to avoid things like the Congestion Charge, traffic jams, spending money on fuel and price of parking. Also so they can have a drink.

The underground system usually has a last train around 00:00 and O2 said that tonight they would have them running until 1am so people can actually get home.

This was a problem a few years ago at the Hammersmith gig where many people left during the first few songs to get the last trains home.

It certainly was the problem at Hammersmith where they didn't finish until 1.15am - and thats why I'm not there now.

I was thinking about that possibility, but being from the US I have no idea how prevalent the use of public transportation is in London.

I can say that in my experience, I have never been to show with a curfew when it was indoors.  But, with the exception of NYC, most of the shows I've been to people have to drive to.

The problem is only in London, expect tomorrows show to be early as well.

As for LG Arena, the NEC complex is right on the out skirts of Birmingham so public transport wont be an issue
