If you want a good Epiphone acoustic, I suggest you go for the Epiphone EJ-200.. Timo Kaltio used a black EJ-200 on his acoustic parts on the 'Smoke' album. While Izzy used a Gibson J-200 (the more expensive Gibson version after which the Epiphone is copied) on the 'Wave Of Heat' album. He also used a Gibson Hummingbird, of which there's also an Epiphone Hummingbird version.

I've tried out the Epihone acoustics and if I were you I'd check the EJ-200 and the Hummingbird out aswell, the EJ-200 sounded better then the Hummingbird I found so I bought that one, but both are good. Actually the EJ-200 is a Jumbo acoustic so it's got a great rich sound.. Smiley

Thank you Waldorf, looks like you're right!!! Thanks a lot!!!

And thank you IzzyDutch for the advise... I'll look for the EJ-200 and Hummingbird aswell. Looks like the other guitar in the video (Mike Squires guitar) is an EJ-200.

Also check out the EJ-200CE. It is similar to the EJ-200 but has electro acoustic pups and the body has a cutaway so that you can play the high frets easier. Solo stuff might be a bit difficult with the EJ-200.

Oops, also forgot to mention that the EJ-200(CE) series has only 20 frets. Make sure this is okay for you.
