That is just one amazing song, and Axl is truly sounding better than ever.

CD drifted a little away from that style, but how cool wouldn't it be to get a live performance of OMG now?

Apparently they have reworked the song some as well. Hopefully we'll hear it someday, the song rocks!  smoking

One of the most under-rated GnR songs, imo

They played it 4 times.  First time at Vegas 01.01.01, at Rio 2001, and the Vegas shows at The Joint Dec 29 and 31 2001.

Richard talked about buying a guitar/digging a guitar out of storage just to play that song live in 2006.

^ I think the 2001 HOB version was already flawless.

That was 2004 or 2005 and it was a bariton guitar. He talked about playing OMG and Silkworms with that, but that was way before any proper tour rehearsals in 2006, even before Ron joined.

It was!  The fourth time was a charm.   hihi  The Dec 31, 2001 show was incredible regarding sound.  After all the technical issues on the 29th it was nice to see the band and Axl have an amazing show on the 31st.
